SBI Youth for India Fellowship – Eligibility Criteria
The fellowship has the following core requirements. Candidates have to ensure that all the requirements are fulfilled in order to be deemed eligible:
- Age of the candidates must be between 21-32 years of age
- Candidates must be Indian citizens/ OCI
- Candidates must be a graduate. Young professionals are also eligible.
SBI Youth for India Fellowship Application Process and Selection Process
Application Process:
Applications are submitted through online mode only. Interested candidates can apply on their official application portal here. The 2020 application window has already commenced. It will close in the last week of April 2020 (tentative).
Screening and Shortlisting:
Shortlisted candidates will be intimated on an ongoing basis during the application period. The selected candidates will be called for an interview, which is scheduled to be held in major cities across India.
Final Selection:
Candidates who have been selected post-interview will be intimated through SMS and/or email. On confirmation, offer letters will be sent to the candidates enclosing all the terms and conditions of the fellowship.
SBI Youth for India Fellowship – Duration
The total duration of the fellowship is 13 months. On completion, Fellows will receive a certificate of completion and a valedictory function will be held.
SBI Youth for India Fellowship – Benefits
The following benefits will be provided to the fellows:
- A stipend of INR 15,000/-
- INR 1,000 per month for local transport allowance
- Re-adjustment allowance of INR 40,000 upon successfully completing the fellowship
- Travel allowance from the Fellow’s place of residence to training or project location
- Medical insurance
- Networking opportunities with the country’s premier organizations
